The Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit is a truly ‘Corinthian' event, supporting charities which ‘benefit the human condition'. Now well established as a major date in the south-west's sailing calendar, the organisers are inviting companies to join its success by becoming a "FRIEND" or a "SPONSOR" of the Pursuit.
Whilst sponsorship for the original Individual Event is provided for by a private charitable trust, it is for the newly devised Team Event, where three yachts sail for the same charity, that company support is needed.
"....the distribution of the prize money is complicated but, in simple terms, places and sponsorship equal prize money, and all monies go to the boats designated charity....."
In these challenging times, success could be described as just staying afloat and weathering the storm. Business and Charity both thrive on promotion and cash, combined, it could be a win win situation. This website offers an opportunity to promote your business with the sincerity of participation, by providing a modest investment as a prize in the Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit, in one of two ways.

Another Challenge
Get your staff out on the water and make them count with a Team Building and Development day. Nominate a local charity project; hospice, kids, research, homeless, aid etc. which you and your staff want to support. Encourage them to raise sponsorship for their sail in the Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit. Its fun, builds real team spirit, and raises cash for a good cause! Who knows, they might carry off a prize to swell their sponsorship pot to overflowing!
