Declare Your Sponsorship
Dear Pursuiter,
The process of incorporating your notification has two steps ~ more detail below
The form for declarations has been closed at the end of the working day 14 July
It had been pointed out that as we are allowing entries up to the end of today . . . . . then "logic" dctates that there should be the means for declaring sponsorship!!
I am still busy acknowledging all the last minute declarations . . . . All of you should by now have received your Confirmation e-mail from me.
(There are about 5 very late entrants that I have yet to administer . . . they can expect their replies later)
1. There will be a near immediate response from the workings of the web site: the page changes immediately and shows you exactly what you have just typed; at the same time, the system sends you an e-mail from:
" admin@eddystonepursuit.org "
telling you the same thing again! (I have no idea how it does it! or, who "admin" is!)
2. Within 48 hrs, you will be sent a "reply" e-mail from:
" entries@eddystonepursuit.org.uk "
Closer to the event I hope to ensure that this second response is quicker! This second response will be from a person (me as event secretary).
. . . In in an ideal world, it would also be reflected on the " Entries " page of the web site at the same time.
. . . . . . But guess who also has to do that!
PLEASE ensure that you have both " admin@eddystonepursuit.org " and "entries@eddystonepursuit.org.uk " as "Allowed" addresses (Please have a litle look now in your "Spam / Junk" folder)
