For those new to this worthwhile and enjoyable event there is some extra information and, hopefully, reassurance that this challenge is not in the slightest bit daunting. The Pursuit is just a fun day out on the water with rewarding results, and everyone's a winner. Sailing has often been regarded as a sport for the wealthy. The Pursuit trounces those perceptions. Standing in a shower tearing up twenty pound notes; not the case. This is a time for ordinary boat owners to come together and enjoy a feast of sailing that gives everyone on board, and everyone who will benefit from the monies raised, a lot of pleasure.
